FALL ALLERGY PREVENTION TIPS

Spring and summer aren’t the only seasons for allergies, fall or autumn allergies can be just as bad. A major difference between a typical "cold" and allergies is that allergies do not cause a fever.
Pollen counts typically drop in early September, but with rain comes more weeds, particularly ragweed, which is a big allergy producer in fall.
Fallen leaves are one of the prettiest parts of fall, but when leaves start to decay comes mold.

How can I prevent fall allergies:
1. After being outdoors, remove shoes at the door, wash hands and face & change clothes.
2. Shut windows and use screens.
3. Replace furnace filters.

How can I treat fall allergies of the eye:
Itching, tearing, and red eyes can be a cause for significant irritation. You can start with the many over the counter eye drops, but if they don't help, see an eye doctor who may be able to offer better solutions. Fall is such a beautiful season, so don't let allergies keep you from enjoying it.
